Trevor Murdock will headline for the World League of Wrestling fundraiser at the Mansfield Community Center on April 11.   Autographs will begin at 3:30 with the real wrestling action to follow.

That Trevor guy looks tough enough to get your crossface chickenwings  into a twist!  There are so many WRESTLING HOLDS that the audience will be in a real STF* to keep track of all of the action.

All funds raised will benefit the Mansfield Community Center and the Mansfield Community Betterment Project.   You can purchase tickets at the Mansfield Community Center, The Bank of Mansfield and FOUR Subway locations: Ava, Mansfield, Seymour and Mountain Grove.

PS: STF means Stepover Toehold Facelock…that should stretch someone’s chickenwings!

Gene Cravens Field Competes for Tony Tiger Grant

Sheri Alsup and Deanna Cain announced the entry of Gene Cravens Field this week. “Our little league/softball field has been submitted to Kelloggs for the Plant A Seed ball field repair program.  Our field is currently in great need of repairs that just are not in the budget to get done and won’t be for some time.  One of the criteria for being selected is that you have to have a lot of supporters and voters.  The voting doesn’t start until April but you can go ahead and be a supporter now and that makes it look much better.  ”
